Candidate for the Mahaut Constituency

Ronald Isidore is the son of Charles Isidore of Mahaut and Winnie Isidore of Campbell.  He is a graduate of Saint Mary’s Academy and later, Iona College, New York where he studies mass psychology, both of these institutions of learning lead by the Christian Brothers in the charisma of Edmund Rice.  His Continuing Education endeavors have been at Seton Hall University, International Labour Organization, Pan American Sports Organization, International Tennis Federation and FIFA.

Ronnie has been committed to family, community and church activities from a very early age. He has brought his vast experience in Human Resource & Operations Management, Policy & Performance Management, Sports Management, Training & Development, Counseling, and Coaching & Mentoring, towards the development of many corporate and small businesses in various sectors of Dominica.   These sectors include the Telecoms, Tourism, Sales & Marketing and Non-Governmental Organization sectors.  Ronnie also has over 20 years working within the education, sports and youth environment.  He has conducted many retreat and training workshops for both youth and adults alike with over 12 years direct training and development experience within the Dominica business environment.

Ronnie’s present activities and passion are for the care and development of the youth and marginalized of his Constituency and Nation.   He serves his community well as the Manager of the Dominica Senior National Football Team and the Manager/ Coach of Football effort in the Village of Mahaut.  He is a member of the Youth Development Team of his Parish Church. Ronnie has also served as a Board Member of the St. Paul’s Co-operative Credit Union.

Ronnie believes in the integration of the Diaspora in the development of Dominica.   Among his affiliations are the Dominica Academy of Arts and Science and the RDF. He never failed to support the work of the Dominica Consulate in New York, U.S.A.

Ronnie is a married community man who relates well with the young and old alike.
