United Workers Party Solid Team for Elections 2009

The United Workers Party has been listening to and monitoring the concerns of the all Dominicans. We have been formulating plans and seeking to involve the right persons to implement those plans.

We think we have come up with the right mix of persons with the necessary commitment, competence and experience to save Dominica. A mix of persons who can rescue Dominica from its current situation of downward spiraling into decay in many aspects of our social, economic and even moral life.

Our plan of action for rescuing our beloved Dominica is summed up in the 20 pledges delivered at our St Joseph rally.

Our Pledge commitment is clear.  Twenty  in twenty-four months.  No excuses.  These are published in a separate pamphlet but also are the bones of this Manifesto.

Our Country is at a major crossroads in its political life.  Either we continue to walk the road of lies, corruption,  crime and  poverty or we challenge ourselves to make a change towards honesty, accountability, good governance and a sustainable economy, which we have dubbed a “clean and green Dominica”.   Clearly the latter is the only option, so we have campaigned vigorously that we must step up, raise our voices and vote to Save our Country.   The time is now.  If not we the people who.   

Our strong Team of United Workers Party candidates stand ready to take full responsibility for saving our Country once we receive the peoples mandate.
