Ezekiel Bazil
Candidate for Wesley, Woodford Hill Constituency

Having heard the call of the people, Ezekiel Bazil born on the 16th of November, 1965 in the village of Wesley took the decision and heeded the call to service the people. Ezekiel who is a catholic was educated at the Wesley Primary Government School, the Dominica Grammar school and was transferred to the St Andrews high school after the devastating Hurricane David.
Ezekiel is holder of a degree from the American Institute for CPCU/ Insurance institute of America in property and casualty claims, he also pursued studies and obtained Diplomas with Crawford Learning and resource center in Atlanta Georgia in the field of Liability Claims Adjusting and the other in automobile appraisal. He is the holder of certificates in fire surveying and claims condition as well as motor claims management from the St Lucia Insurance Institute.
Ezekiel served as an agricultural extension officer for the Wesley/ Woodfordhill district with the North East agricultural program before gaining employment with American Life Insurance Company and Life of Barbados as a life underwriter. He then went on as manager of Dom waters in Antigua. He was later employed as supervisor at Insurance Consultants Ltd agents for American Home Insurance Co. Nemwil and Barbados Fire and General. Ezekiel then decided to move back to Dominica to make his contribution to community building and national development. He was appointed managing director for Mc Breadston Foods (Perkys) and is now a director of The Resource Management Service and the Claims Manager of First Domestic Insurance Company Ltd.
He also served as general secretary to the Tipper Trucker Association of Dominica and was involved in a number of groups at the Wesley Catholic Church and the St Andrews High School. Ezekiel chaired the local group which brought the largest ever general insurance conference of the Caribbean to the shores of Dominica.
Ezekiel who is married and a father of four and is determined to bring back to the people of Wesley, and Woodfordhill the pride and respect that they once cherished.
